Library

Buckeye Elementary has an excellent Library program!  Our Librarian is Mrs. Wendy Manuel; she has a Reading Specialist Master's Degree.  Mrs. Manuel teaches library classes 1-2 times per week to our K-2 students.  Students learn a love for reading from Mrs. Manuel.  She also supports our phonics and reading instruction by providing reading interventions and additional classroom support for our young readers!  Mrs. Manuel was able to get a grant that provided our school with two book vending machines!  Our students get to use the vending machines on special occasions like birthdays and AR awards!  We have an excellent Accelerated Reader Program for our 1st and 2nd grade students.  Our students love visiting our library!  For more information about this program, please email Mrs. Manuel @ wendy.manuel@rpsb.us
